Meet John! He is a 2-year-old cat who is a nice guy but he is very shy and is not doing well with the shelter life, where all the noise and activity make him want to hide. John may do best as an outside barn or shed kitty, where he can have space, quiet, and a simple routine while still being cared for with food, water, and a safe place to rest. If you have a fairly quiet place and can give him time without pressure, John could be a great companion for you!
