Introducing Solana! She`s a 4-month-old sweetheart weighing 24 pounds now, with lots of growing left to do! The kennel can feel like a spooky place for this sensitive girl, so she may seem extra nervous behind the barrier. But beyond the barrier, Solana is incredibly sweet, docile, and prone to nervous tinkling! She has basic leash skills, loves toys, and is discovering the joy of fetch. She’ll happily chase the ball but is still figuring out the “bring it back” part! Like many puppies, she’s working on her manners and continuing to build consistency with her potty routine. She does know to potty outside, and while we can’t guarantee housetraining in a shelter environment, her skills are likely to blossom in a home with patience and structure. Solana does well with other dogs though she may be a bit shy at first. She’s still learning how to be a dog and will thrive with a family ready to guide her with love, consistency, and understanding as she grows into the amazing companion she’s meant to be!
