Hallo, friend! I am Athena, 8 year old puppy extraordinaire! I may be 8 but don`t let that fool you! I like to think that I`m a young thing! My friends say I have the energy of a puppy and I`m inclined to agree! As you can see I am very serious about treatos and already know how to sit and shake, but I will of course do anything for treats! When I first came into the shelter I was very skinny and I am still working on gaining some weight, but that just means you can give me lots of extra treats! At a healthy weight I should probably weigh about 50 pounds. I have gotten so much better at walking on a leash and going potty outside, but will still need a little work in my new home! I get along well with other low/medium energy dogs that know how to respect my space, but would also probably do well in a home as the only dog. I don`t know how I would feel about living with a cat, but would probably adjust given some time. I would likely do well in a home with kids of all ages, but would need to be monitored around young children due to my excitable personality. I am very sweet and would love someone to play with! I love being outside in the yard and running around sniffing everything! If you take me home I promise to be the bestest girl!
